Youth leading a sustainable lifestyle

A 2019 Nordic youth conference on sustainable lifestyle, with emphasis on responsible consumption and production.

I’ve been ever so fortunate to work with the United Nations Association in Iceland on a number of projects in the last few years—this important conference being one of them.

Nordic youth, ministers, business leaders and NGOs came together on a sunny day in April 2019, to discuss and promote solutions for UN’s Global goal number 12: Responsible consumption and production. Activist and role model Greta Thunberg addressed the conference via video from Sweden. The super talented illustrator Rán Flygenring provided live illustrated commentary based on the identity’s color pallette.

Stay tuned! The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service is currently working on a TV show to promote the conference and its findings.
